SUMMARY
Camp Pocono, located just outside of Oklahoma City, is the
perfect home away from home. For eight weeks every summer, campers
and staff alike enjoy fun in the sun, relaxation, and friends without
the distractions of daily life getting in the way.
For Lilly and Blythe this was what they looked forward to every year.
Since childhood, they'd been coming to Camp Pocono and had become
best friends. Once upon a time, they were campers but now, the girls
are counselors, a dream that they've shared for years. Their friend
and fellow counselor, Zac Hanson, is with them again but this summer,
he's brought along an unexpected surprise. His older brother.
Eighteen-year-old Taylor Hanson is at Camp Pocono as punishment for
yet another rebellious act and he's not happy about it. Taking care
of eight little boys and spending eight weeks with his younger brother
is not Taylor's idea of a perfect summer. But, without any other choice,
he's determined to make something go his way and he's hoping that
it will be Lilly who turns in his direction. And while she tries to
fight off Taylor's advances, Blythe is busy trying to win the heart
of Zac for yet another summer in a row. Only this time, she hopes
she finds courage enough to tell him how she feels.
Over the course of two months, the four teenagers have to find a
way to balance children, mosquito bites, sunburns, and friendships
all the while trying desperately to successfully master the art of
summer romance. Follow Lilly, Blythe, Zac, and Taylor through the
summer of 2001 in Camp Pocono, an alternate
universe Hanson fan fiction set to the rhythm of summer camp.
