Zac was ignoring his older brother again. After sixteen years, he’d mastered the art. Taylor was complaining and no one in their right mind wanted to listen to that. Except for Taylor. He liked to talk just to hear the sound of his own voice.

CHAPTER TWO
“After all these summers of suspense, are you finally going to tell Zac you’re madly in love with him? I’m on the edge of my seat here, you’ve got to give me something!”

CHAPTER THREE
Lilly hadn’t wanted any distractions this summer and she was sure that Taylor would be one.

CHAPTER FOUR
How could she explain that she was a little jealous of the fact that Giselle was unabashedly all over him without first telling him how she felt about him? That for years, she had wanted to be more than just friends with him? It was nearly an impossible feat, and so she decided to bite her tongue and pretend nothing was wrong.

CHAPTER FIVE

“You think you’re supposed to hate this place just because you got picked on here as a kid. And you’re afraid if you quit acting like a hard-ass who’s pissed at the world, that you might actually like it.”

CHAPTER SIX
“Oh to hell with it,” she muttered and leaned in and pressed her lips to Taylor’s quickly. She expected it to be a small kiss but he returned the kiss, inviting her lips back to his. She indulged and kissed him a bit closer, a little longer, finding that he was an excellent kisser.

CHAPTER SEVEN
"if you don’t, I’ll tell Zac about us and any chance you ever stood of getting back with him will be ruined,” Taylor said firmly. If Giselle wanted to play dirty, she was messing with the wrong person, because he wasn’t afraid to do it too. “He’d probably never speak to you again.”

CHAPTER EIGHT
“Of course, I’m jealous, Lilly!” Blythe cried. “This whole summer has been about you and all that I keep hearing is how beautiful you are and how every boy here wants to have sex with you. And then when Zac, the one person that I care for the most, starts acting as if you’re his goal too, of course, I’m going to be jealous!”

CHAPTER NINE
He was taken off guard and he kissed her back, going with her until he could make the decision as to what he needed to do.

CHAPTER TEN
Blythe had thought so many times how stupid she had been to ever think that Lilly would betray her like that even if Zac did have feelings for her. But most of all, she regretted the way she had misinterpreted Zac’s words of warning to Lilly about Taylor.

CHAPTER ELEVEN
Everyone knows that you don’t want to be here, Taylor, that you hate it and that you’d rather be anywhere else in the world. But nobody cares.

CHAPTER TWELVE
"I can’t be friends with you anymore,” Zac replied, his face looking into hers without visible expression. His words felt like a knife through Blythe’s heart. She couldn’t believe that after all they had been through, she had screwed it all up by overreacting to Zac’s concern for Lilly and thinking there was more between her friends than there actually was.

CHAPTER THIRTEEN
“I will make a deal with you,” Giselle said. “I’ve known Lilly for like… forever. I hate her, yes, but I know what kind of things that she likes and what she’s into. I will help you with this."

CHAPTER FOURTEEN
Zac had noticed the changes in Taylor. Even Blythe had pointed it out. Taylor was doing well here, acting as he should have been all summer. But Zac wasn’t sure if that made Taylor worthy of Lilly. And with Taylor, Zac wouldn’t be surprised if Taylor was doing all of this as an act just to get into Lilly’s pants.

CHAPTER FIFTEEN
“Lillian Grey, would you please join me for a little rustic dining?”

CHAPTER SIXTEEN
Talking about Taylor and Lilly kept them from having to have the discussion about their own relationship and what would happen in just a few weeks when camp ended and it was time to return to their normal lives away from each other.

CHAPTER SEVENTEEN
Lilly was everything that he wanted or needed. Perhaps he’d been that to someone, to one of his old girlfriends. The thought of losing her made his pulse race, his blood boil. He’d worked so hard to find her and now he feared that she was going to let him go.

CHAPTER EIGHTEEN
“I want us to stay together. I want to talk to you on the phone every night and see you on the weekends. I still want to be with you, Zac…and not just at camp.”

CHAPTER NINETEEN
He made up his mind to let her go. Eventually, he would meet someone new, a girl who could take his mind of Lilly and the color of her eyes… the scent of her hair and the feel of her skin beneath his fingertips. Someone would fill that space; he was sure of it.

CHAPTER TWENTY
Coming here, Taylor was sure that he’d come to the end of the world, that his summer would be the worst that he had or ever would experience. But he was wrong.
